Class Investigations

This year we thought it would be fun for each class to do some investigating. With the theme of 'Life Sciences' it seems right that we spend a little bit of time looking at the human body.
Each class will be given a part of the body to research and find out how it works e.g. P1 might have the sense of hearing to investigate. They could then find out what the ear looks like, how it works and perhaps do some simple experiments to find out what it would be like to be without that particular sense. They would then have to decide on a way to present their findings to the rest of the school at assembly on Friday. This will be in the form of a Powerpoint presentation and should be no longer than a few minutes.
The investigation in class should be for everyone to get involved in but the presentation itself should be optional. There are plenty of 'Confident Individuals' out there who will love having an audience!
