The PTA provides links between the school and parents. The PTA organises and supports social activities to bring members of the school community together as well as hosting fundraising events to purchase items to enhance and extend the resources available for learning and teaching.
Every parent and teacher is automatically a member of the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings. Meetings are held approximately once a month in James Gillespie's High School. The PTA has a notice board on the front path into the school. Notification of events are normally posted there as a reminder.
